Welcome
The art of designing glass is our passion, the concept of forming a beautiful flowing composition with a material that is usually considered a functional, utilitarian media, is challenging, rewarding and artistically fulfilling.
Some say glass has a mind of its own. We have come to understand that it has properties that are unforgiving, and we respect them. After so long working with this fascinating material, we have become acutely aware of most of its idiosyncrasies, and we are able to incorporate a lot of these into the unique designs we compose.
We will never become the glass's Master, but rather an apprentice of its inherent peculiarities. We strive to make the most beautiful pieces we can. Time is our only limitation.
Our glass stands out from most other artists because of the striking use of the vibrant colors available on the market today. We design both functional and strictly art pieces.
By combining C.O.E. compatible glass into a coherent eye-appealing shape and form, we achieve our primary goal, which is a beautiful piece of glass, to see, to touch, and to gaze upon.
Our glass is fired in a kiln, then cooled, a minimum of twice and often as many as 4 or more times, depending on the effect we are trying to achieve. The rate of heat climb and the maximum temperature impacts the final result of each piece. Cold working a completed work is an option to achieve a final appearance.
